4DMedical Limited has transitioned its pilot program with Lake Imaging into a commercial agreement, the company announced in a news release.

Lake Imaging is part of Integral Diagnostics, one of the largest providers of medical imaging services in Australia and New Zealand.

The new contract will see 4DMedical’s lung imaging technology made available for routine clinical use at Lake Imaging locations across Victoria, including Ballarat, Albury, North Melbourne, Geelong, Warrnambool, and other sites as agreed between the parties.

The company’s proprietary CT LVAS technology provides lung-function data to assist clinicians in diagnosing respiratory conditions.

“This contract is a direct result of the strong interest from doctors to use our products in clinical practice and continues 4DMedical’s record of converting 100% of pilot programs into full commercial contracts,” said Andreas Fouras, managing director, CEO, and Founder of 4DMedical.

The pilot program was originally launched in October 2023, allowing Lake Imaging to assess the clinical and operational value of 4DMedical’s imaging solutions.

Following its success, the expansion marks a key step in bringing advanced respiratory diagnostics to more patients in regional and metropolitan Victoria.

Integral Diagnostics, which merged with Capitol Health in December 2024 to become Australia’s second largest diagnostic imaging provider, operates under a medical leadership model that aims to ensure high-quality care.

The organisation brings together leading radiologists and imaging specialists across Australia and New Zealand.

Fouras added that the agreement is aligned with the company’s long-term goals. “This is another important step in 4DMedical’s mission to revolutionise lung health and further strengthens our commercial presence in Australia,” he said.
